I sometimes joke that I left Australia because of the scary spiders there. The European spiders are imposters compared to their Australian cousins 😅

The only exception I make for spiders in our home is the edible variety 😉

These Peanut Butter Spider Cookies make a regular appearance in our home every year in the lead up to Halloween. My kids are even old enough now to help me make them!

I like to use my Peanut Butter Cookie recipe as a base because they pair really well with chocolate, but you could certainly try the idea for these spider cookies using other cookies too, such as a sugar cookie or shortbread cookie.
